This Sunday, April 20th, USS Constitution will host an Easter Sunrise Service onboard at 7 A.M. Security will open at 6:30 A.M. for entrance into the Navy Yard. All are welcome—bring your families and join us in this celebration!

Seventy-two years ago, Commanding Officer Lt. Albert C. Messier oversaw Constitution’s first-ever Easter Sunday service. Since then, Constitution has continued the tradition of hosting Easter morning services.

Remember, admission is completely free! Adults, please bring a government-issued ID to board the ship.

This non-denominational service is open to the general public, free of charge.

Guests will be allowed to board Constitution at 6:45 a.m. with 75 seats available on a first come, first serve basis.

All guests age 18 and older are required to show a valid state or federal-issued photo I.D. or passport to board the ship.

The service is scheduled to commence at 7:00 a.m. and will conclude with Constitution crew’s observance of morning colors at 8:00 a.m..
