Second Annual Downton Abbey-inspired Tea at Sharon Library

Take a trip across the pond with your favorite aristocratic family by signing up now to attend the Second Annual Downton Abbey-inspired Tea Party at the Sharon Public Library (SPL).

Sponsored by The Friends of the Sharon Public Library (The Friends), the event will be held on Sunday, March 8, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, and will feature delicious specialty teas and finger foods with a Downton Abbey theme.

Video clips from Season 5 will add an authentic flavor to the program.

Highlighting the program will be a raffle and a Downton Abbey Trivia Contest with valuable prizes.

Guests are invited to attend in Edwardian era attire.

Admission to the Downton Abbey Tea is just $5.

Raffle tickets are just $2 each.

Save $2 by purchasing six raffles for $10.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Adult Circulation Desk at the SPL.

Proceeds from the Downton Abbey Tea will be used to support The Friends’ work on behalf of the Library, including rental and large print books, museum passes, cultural offerings, and supplemental programming.
