Join us for a fun-filled afternoon to support the North Gate Equestrian Team! Pony rides! Games for kids! Bake sale! New and used items for sale!
Lots of fun events will be going on all day!

About the Team
The North Gate Farm Equestrian competed in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Zone One Finals this past weekend at Mount Holyoke College. The team of five riders competed against sixteen other teams from Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts for one of three spots to compete at the IEA National Horse Show in Wellington Florida.
IEA competition is no small feat! Riders do not ride their own horses in the competition. Each rider draws a horse much like a lottery and they compete that horse. Riders showing over fences only have two warm up fences prior to competing their mount over a course of six to eight jumps. In their non-jumping classes, the rider is not allowed any warm up time to get to know their horse.
The following riders rode at the Zone Horse Show for North Gate: Caroline Rakip, a senior from Framingham, Kate Coffey, a freshman from Westford, Ellie Palmier, a freshman from Wellesley, Ariana Maserejian, a sophomore from Belmont, and Ari Chinoporous, a sophomore from Belmont. The team trains with Pamela Duggan and Katie Schaaf of North Gate Farm in Sudbury, MA.
The North Gate Equestrian Team currently has 49 riders from various schools and towns. The team also accepts riders from local stables who do not have their own IEA team! Please contact us if you are interested in joining our team!
The Team placed 7th in the nation at last years IEA National Horse Show against teams from across the country!
