D.W. Kim’s U.S. Taekwondo Center Beverly is holding a “Kicking it Back to School” Family Fun Community Event on Saturday August 22nd from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

The event is totally free.

The activities include free black belt instructor-led Taekwondo fun with exciting Board Breaking, free Lemonade and Snacks, free exciting Taekwondo Performance, open Inspirational Bully-Free Speech, and free Goodie Bags.

Goodie Bags include: a Taekwondo t-shirt/ bookmark/ pencil/ backpack/ and event-day coupon for free enrollment.

Reservations are not required, but 1st 50 callers who reserve in advance will receive a free official Taekwondo uniform at the event.

From Cape Ann Area: 128 South, Take Exit 18 to Beverly Essex St./MA-22- Going Right at end of Ramp onto Essex St., Pass YMCA on Right, soon stay slight Right/Straight at fork onto Colon St to 4 way stop sign intersection. From the South: US-1 N to Tobin Br/Revere, Merge onto I-95 N/ MA-128 N to Gloucester (1.4 mile), Keep Left to take MA-128 N via Exit 45 to Gloucester (4.6 mile), Take the MA-62 Exit 22 to Beverly/Middleton (.2 mile), Turn Slight Right onto Elliot St./MA-62 (2.5 mile), Turn right onto Cabot St./MA-62 (.02 mile-Super Sub on right), 317 Cabot St. is on the left in the One Stop Plaza across Papa Ginos.
From the West: I-95/MA-128 N to Burlington/Portsmouth NH, Keep Left to Take MA-128 N via Exit 45 to Gloucester (4.6 mile), Take the MA-62 Exit 22 to Beverly/ Middleton (.2 mile), Turn Slight Right onto Elliot St./MA-62 (2.5 mile), Turn Right onto Cabot St./MA-62 (.02 mile- Super Sup on the right), 317 Cabot St. is on the left in the One Stop Plaza across from Papa Ginos.
From Nashua NH Area: US-3 S, Merge onto I-95 N/MA-128N via Exit 25A on the Left to Boston/Peabody (14.7 mile), Keep Left to take MA-128 N via exit 45 to Gloucester (4.6 mile), Take the MA-62 Exit 22 to Beverly/Middleton (.2 mile), Turn Slight Right onto Elliot St./MA-62 (2.5 mile), Turn Right onto Cabot St./MA-62 (.02 mile- Super Sub on right), 317 Cabot St. is on the left in the One Stop Plaza across from Papa Ginos

  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to participate in Taekwondo activities. Snacks and drinks are permitted inside, but not in the matted classroom training area please. Please be on time for event so as not to miss any activities. Don't forget to get your Goodie Bag (limit 1 per person please). Walk-ins are welcome and reservations not required but 1st 50 callers who do reserve in advance will receive a free official Taekwondo uniform at the event. Parking lot has limited space (please do not park on the One Stop side), but many non-metered spaces are available on the surrounding side streets (please mind parking signs). Metered parking available on Cabot St.
