Start your December by kicking it old school as we transform IDBeach into a dayglow daydream for a 90's Beach Party with live music, drinks, photobooths, and more.
Channel your inner Cher Horowitz or Josh Lucas, bust out your Doc Martins and an old flannel to tie around your waist, and come dance the day away as hometown cover band The Unoriginals play a set of 90's covers that will surely get you stoked.
The 90's Beach Party, like all events in the ID-Beach event series, is a 21+ event and will take place at 23 Drydock Avenue at The Innovation and Design Building.

About The Unoriginals:
The Unoriginals are a high-energy Boston-based rock cover band that wants to melt your face.
They play over a hundred favorites (and counting) from pop, punk, rock, and alternative rock genres, and put on a balls-to-the-wall, unapologetic rock show to get you out of your seat, singing along, and forgetting Mondays exist.
Catch them at venues around Boston throughout the year, or at the Brighton IHOP after the show.

About the IDBeach Event Series:
This fall, The Innovation and Design Building in Boston’s Seaport District is creating a beach inspired space complete with cabana seating, “ocean views”, umbrellas, and palm trees.
To highlight the building’s vibrant community of designers and creative professionals, the IDB is hosting a series of Saturday afternoon events featuring great food, music, drinks, and a completely unique experience in a one-of-a-kind setting.
Other events scheduled to take place at IDBeach as a part of the event series include:
The “Kinda Cruise” Day Party on Saturday, November 11th
With nearly 300,000 people a year setting off on cruises from the Flynn Cruise Port right behind the IDB, our first event will bring the best parts of a cruise vacation to those not yet ready to leave dry land.
The party will feature a soundtrack of soothing yacht rock tunes, games, and all you can eat oysters for the first 100 guests courtesy of East Boston Oysters and Chatham Shellfish Company.
1-5pm, $12
Cereal Cinema Brunch Double Feature on Saturday, November 18th IDBeach is the perfect setting to fill that outdoor lounging void by bringing the beach inside and presenting a double feature of movie classics.
All-you-can-eat popcorn, candy, and cereal are included in the cost of admission, and a cash mimosa bar will be on site for those looking for a brunch-time pick-me-up.
11:30am-5pm, $12
AIGA Trivia on Saturday, December 16th Building off of their successful trivia night in Cambridge earlier in the year, the American Institute of Graphic Arts (better known as AIGA) will host a free trivia night at IDBeach for designers and non-designers alike.
Come flex your brain muscles with other creative individuals and aim for first place to win a prize!
Cash bar will be available.
