If you plan to attend, wear a costume! Teams will be vying for the coveted People’s Choice Award, so they will be extremely motivated to bribe you with some candy, baked goods, small artwork, stickers or even something wearable.

You are more likely to get a bribe if you are wearing a costume, funny hat, tiara, feather boa, whatever suits your fancy, and we mean f-a-a-a-ncy!

If you choose, you could bring your bike (wear a helmet) to follow along the race route behind the judges in their chariot and the Nurse Brigade, you could make your way to each of the other obstacles via foot or the COOL bus that will transport people during the entire race.

The other option is to arrive at the Start/Finish Line on Market St. in time for the opening ceremony and start of the race and spend the day listening to two great bands and enjoying the Family Fun Zone.
