Still the oldest commissioned vessel in the U.S. Navy, it’s a tradition and a piece of living history you won’t want to miss!
Old Ironsides is expected to depart Charlestown Navy Yard at approximately 10 a.m. and make her way through Boston Harbor. The underway demonstration can be viewed from several waterfront locations, including Charlestown Navy Yard, the Boston Harborwalk, and Castle Island.
At approximately 11 a.m., USS Constitution will render a 21-gun salute, best viewed from Fort Independence on Castle Island.
