When accompanied by kids 12 and under, up to 2 adults per family are admitted free the last Saturday of every month (except December).

Beginning May 29 and in line with the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the ICA requires anyone who is not fully vaccinated to wear a face covering at all times while inside the museum, including children ages 2 to 12.

By entering the ICA, all visitors agree to comply with current City and State regulations, and the ICA requests that visitors stay home if they are unwell and/or experiencing symptoms of Covid-19. Visitors to the ICA are personally responsible for their safety and actions. Read more about the Commonwealth’s updated guidelines.

Timed tickets can be reserved online; advance reservation is strongly recommended. Please request your ticket at least 24 hours in advance so our team has time to process your order. Tickets requested day-of are not guaranteed.

Timed tickets for any additional guests beyond the two accompanying adults are required and may be purchased here.

Please note that while in-person Play Date programming at the museum is currently suspended, Virtual Play Dates are now taking place online on the last Friday of the month (except December). Check out our calendar for more information.
