mbta commuter rail service for ed sheeran concert at gillette stadium photoTickets for the round-trip, special event train service to the Ed Sheeran concert at Gillette Stadium on July 1 will go on sale exclusively via the mTicket app tomorrow, June 16, at 11:00 a.m.

The MBTA Commuter Rail will be providing service from both Boston and Providence for the July 1 show. There will be NO special event train service available for the Friday, June 30 show.

==> Guests choosing to travel to Gillette Stadium for the Friday, June 30 show via the regularly scheduled Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail service should note that the last weekday Commuter Rail train departs for Boston at 10:20 p.m. <==

Roundtrip special event train tickets are $20 and will be available for purchase exclusively via the mTicket app beginning at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Tickets for each special event train will be sold separately and need to be purchased for the correct station of origin (Boston or Providence).

Due to anticipated high demand, no refunds or exchanges will be available. Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding the event train.

*All passengers, including children 11 and under, must have a ticket to board the train.* Please note: These are special event trains and ticket sales will be stopped once the maximum capacity is reached. Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains.

Departure Stations
The Boston special event train will depart from South Station with stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center before arriving at the final destination of Foxboro Station. The Providence special event train will depart from Providence Station with stops at Pawtucket/Central Falls, Attleboro and Mansfield before arriving at Foxboro Station. The schedules for Saturday, July 1 can be found below.

Saturday, July 1:

BOSTON:

Depart South Station: 3:35 PM
Depart Back Bay: 3:40 PM
Depart Dedham Corporate Center: 4:00 PM
Arrive at Foxboro Station: 4:35 PM

PROVIDENCE:

Depart Providence Station: 3:25 PM
Depart Pawtucket/Central Falls: 3:31 PM
Depart Attleboro: 3:45 PM
Depart Mansfield: 3:55 PM
Arrive at Foxboro Station: 4:40 PM
NOTE: Trains will depart Foxboro Station 30 minutes after the concert ends.

Riders are reminded that any prohibited items that do not comply with the stadium’s Clear Bag Policy will not be permitted on the train and no personal items may be left on the train during the concert.
