Don’t miss a one-of-a-kind performance that synthesizes traditional Korean music and American blues in an innovative and thoroughly contemporary way.

Yoona Kim is a Boston-based composer, improviser, and musician specializing in the ajaeng—a Korean string instrument—and Roman Barten-Sherman is a banjo player and guitarist from Arizona.

Together the two musicians play tracks from their first album, Delta Dokkaebi, which received a grant from New England Conservatory, along with new compositions that showcase the dynamic fusion of their musical influences.
