National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates U.S. Latinos, their culture and their history.
Started in 1968 by Congress as Hispanic Heritage Week, it was expanded to a month in 1988.
Each year beginning on September 15th, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Join your friends from The Vin Bin and Word on the Street as we celebrate through books, art and food!
This family-friendly event will feature book readings with Alyson from Word on the Street book store.
Attendees will create a snack box featuring carefully selected snacks from Spain and Mexico.
The event will also include creating your own commemorative flag.
Alyson will have books on-site for sale and our award-winning deli will be open for food purchases, as well.
You don't want to miss this wonderful celebration!
* All Tickets are non-refundable.
One child under 12 may accompany a parent or guardian who has purchased a ticket at no additional cost.
This event is subject to a minimum number of participants and may be postponed to a future date based on required enrollment.*
