This Black History Month, join Krystina Yeager of Historic Beverly at the Salem Visitor Center to hear the stories of local enslaved persons in Essex County based on new research that’s been uncovered.Through engaging hands-on activities, we will explore parts of Black history, culture, and daily life that are often overlooked.
Come feel fabric samples, play period games, and even learn how to do the minuet!
This 45-minute program is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages but geared towards kids 7+.
Registration is strongly encouraged, space is limited.
