Malicious, power-hungry, and bitter about his physical deformity, Richard aspires secretly to the throne–and decides to kill anyone he has to in order to become king.

After our “winter of discontent”, Arlington Children’s Theatre is thrilled to continue their spring tradition of performing a work of William Shakespeare.

This year ACT is proud to present The Tragedy of Richard III.

After a long civil war between the royal family of York and the royal family of Lancaster, England enjoys a period of peace under King Edward IV and the victorious Yorks.

But Edward's younger brother, Richard, resents Edward's power and the happiness of those around him.

Malicious, power-hungry, and bitter about his physical deformity, Richard begins to aspire secretly to the throne–and decides to kill anyone he has to in order to become king.

Richard III features a talented cast of 24 ACTors aged 13-18 from five local towns.

Performances will be held on Friday, May 15 at 7 PM; Friday, May 16 at 7 PM; and Sunday, May 17 at 2 PM at the Arlington Masonic Temple at 19 Academy Street Arlington, MA.

Tickets are $10.00, available at the door or online.
