THIS WORK WAS COMMISSIONED BY THE W11 CHILDREN'S OPERA TRUST
This remarkable family opera for audiences of all ages is based on a classic Bengali animal fable, with music by Bernard Hughes and libretto by William Radice.
A wily Jackal arranges the marriage of a foolish, uneducated Weaver to the King's daughter ...but it is the Princess who has the last laugh!
This entirely sung 70-minute show (plus intermission) is full of stunning sets, colorful costumes, and beautiful music and dance.
