Directed by Richard Bento, with music direction by Jennifer Sterling and Lauren Saracino, this Winter Junior Workshop production will feature 31 kids ages 5-18 from the Randolph, Stoughton, Brockton, Abington, Weymouth, Holbrook, and surrounding areas.
“The Big Bad Musical” follows the tale of the Big Bad Wolf as he stands on trial for past crimes against several fairy tale characters, including Little Red Riding Hood, Granny, and The Three Little Pigs.
In contrast to SSTW’s fall musical, “Into the Woods,” which catered to teens and adults, the winter workshop is an excellent opportunity for parents around the South Shore to introduce younger children to the world of theatre and enjoy upbeat, high-energy songs and familiar characters.
“The Big Bad Musical: A Howling Courtroom Comedy” will run on Friday, January 6, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, January 7, at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, January 8, at 2:00 p.m., at Stetson Hall, 6 South Main Street, Randolph, MA, 02368.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by credit card on the SSTW website at www.southshoretheatreworks.com/tickets.html, at the door by cash or check, or reserved in advance by emailing [email protected].
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors / students, and $10 for children.
