Arlington Children’s Theatre (ACT) is thrilled to announce their summer musicals, Singin’ in theRain Jr. and Chicago.

In Chicago, ACTors ages 13-18 will dazzle audiences in Bob Fosse’s sharp edged-satire.

The shows feature ACTors from Arlington and nine neighboring communities.

Chicago takes place in the Windy City of the roaring twenties where chorus girl Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap...until he finds out he’s been dupedand turns on Roxie.

Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess”, Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces to in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune and acquittal.

Featuring a dazzling score and timeless staging by Bob Fosse, Chicago will delight audiences of all ages.
