She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms directed by Tyler Rosati
For Winter Festival 2021 we are offering up two amazing shows we have done before presented in fresh and dynamic ways. Milo (Phantom Tollbooth) and Agnes (She Kills Monsters) enter magical fantastical worlds as an escape from problems presented in their real lives.
Virtual live streamed performances will embrace these themes of escape while utilizing every tool in our theatrical toolbelt to create dynamic and fantastical staging at home.
While our rehearsal and performances will be home, costume pieces and props will still be provided by the theatre. Safely collecting these items will also include occasion safe and socially distanced gatherings for cast members who would like to meet in person to further build that cast bonding that makes shows so strong!
While this is something new, we are certain that leaning into the online performance with these two specific plays can result in something fresh, excited, and built embracing the endless possibilities that come with performing online.
