Little One-Inch: Puppet Show
Little One-Inch is a traditional Japanese folktale about an orphan boy who remains very tiny even as he grows in years.
When he comes of age, Little One-Inch sets off on an adventure using a rice bowl as a boat and a chopstick as his oar.
Along the way, he befriends a princess, battles an ogre, and eventually transforms into a tall and handsome samurai.
This enchanting production features beautifully costumed marionettes, elaborate scenery, witty rhymes, and a scrolling backdrop painted with Japanese Sumi-e ink.
Recommended for ages 4 and up.
