Disney's TWICE CHARMED - A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes...

This original musical begins at the end of Disney’s animated classic Cinderella.

Cinderella and the Prince have just gotten married and everyone in the kingdom is overjoyed — except for Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters who lament the fact that were it not for the glass slippers, Cinderella would’ve had no proof she was the maiden at the ball.

Fortunately for them, just as a good person like Cinderella has a Fairy Godmother, a wicked person like her stepmother has a Wicked Fairy Godfather who sends the evil stepmother and stepsisters back in time to break Cinderella’s glass slippers!

Will Cinderella still win the heart of her Prince in the end?

Or will history be rewritten and one of Cinderella’s evil stepsisters become the Prince’s bride?

When an uber-organized mother and her spontaneous teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right.

Masquerading as each other, they must work together to solve the mystery of how to break the spell.

By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another in a way they never could have imagined.

In the end, both learn the true power of love and the strength of the bond between a mother and daughter in this heartfelt and hilarious adaptation.

Based on the beloved 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, Freaky Friday features a book by Bridget Carpenter - the co-executive producer and writer on the beloved TV hits, 'Friday Night Lights' and 'Parenthood' - and music and lyrics by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey - the Pulitzer Prize-winning composers of Next to Normal.
