Amherst is in for a special Holiday treat this year as Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy return to New England to play at UMass Amherst on Wednesday, December 4, at 7:00 p.m. The award-winning fiddle virtuosos are joined by their stellar band and their amazingly, talented children, as they invite you into an intimate Cape Breton, MacMaster-Leahy Christmas celebration.
Through a mix of both song and dance, they will take you on a journey with outstanding performances telling the story of the night before Christmas in the Leahy/MacMaster household.
With a lineup of familiar Christmas songs intermingled with classic Celtic songs, A Celtic Family Christmas brings you in the door, and welcomes you in as part of the family.
