Reading Memorial High School Drama Club Presents Catch Me If You Can: The Musical - November 7-16

Musical Takes Flight at Reading Memorial High School (RMHS)

Get ready for a high-flying adventure as the RMHS Drama Club proudly presents Catch Me If You Can: The Musical, based on the hit DreamWorks film and the incredible true story that inspired it!

Performances will run November 7th-16th, at the Endslow Performing Arts Center at RMHS.

Set in the 1960s and brimming with jazzy tunes, dazzling dance numbers, and sharp wit, Catch Me If You Can follows the story of Frank Abagnale, Jr., a teenager who runs away from home and successfully poses as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer—all before his 21st birthday.

As Frank’s lies grow bigger and bolder, so does the pursuit by FBI agent Carl Hanratty, leading to a thrilling game of cat and mouse with heart, humor, and a surprising emotional depth.

With music by Marc Shaiman (Hairspray) and lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, this upbeat and stylish musical is suitable for the family with some mature themes, suggested for middle schoolers and up, offering both entertainment and important themes about identity, consequences, and redemption.
