This February, join us as we present the Boston premiere of My Marlene—brought for the first time ever into the immersive dome of the Charles Hayden Planetarium.

Experience this acclaimed one-woman show, fresh off a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in a groundbreaking new form, where theatre, cabaret, and full-dome visual storytelling collide.

My Marlene resurrects the magnetic, gender-fluid, bisexual icon Marlene Dietrich—Hollywood legend, anti-fascist rebel, and artistic shapeshifter.

Performed by award-winning writer and actor Tjaša Ferme and directed by Ana Margineanu, the show dives into the contradictions that made Dietrich extraordinary: selfless war hero and glamorous housefrau in tuxedo tails; romantic entangled with lovers across continents; gender-fluid pioneer who wore masculinity and femininity interchangeably—and defiantly—both on and off screen.
