Hinton’s classic coming-of-age story to life in a powerful new musical adaptation.

Based on the beloved novel and the iconic film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, this production delivers a moving story of friendship, identity, and belonging.

Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967, the story follows Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade, and their tight-knit Greaser family as they navigate conflict with their affluent rivals, the Socs.

As tensions rise, the Greasers struggle to define who they are and who they want to become in a world that often rejects them.

Featuring a dynamic original score by Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance) and Justin Levine, with book by Adam Rapp and Justin Levine, the production is directed by Tony Award® winner Danya Taymor with choreography by Rick and Jeff Kuperman.

A compelling story of resilience and hope, The Outsiders explores the enduring belief that there is still “lots of good in the world.”
