This year’s tour features the King Philip Neighborhood.
Learn about the area’s history from the story of the Battle of Green Hill during the King Philip War to the neighborhood’s evolution as a prominent residential, industrial and commercial center.
Tour 6 private homes plus the former B&M Railroad Section House.
Talk with design experts at Boston Design Guide located at the historic site known as the Wood-Davison House.
Shop, dine, or sample wares at supportive businesses such as Juliana’s Catering & Events, Duck Soup, and Bearly Read Books, and visit exquisitely renovated office spaces such as Black Horse Real Estate, situated in and along the Historic District.
Tickets may be purchased now through the day of the event from the SHS.
General Admission is $30 and $25 for SHS members.

Tickets will be held at the door at the will-call line.
Advance purchase is recommended to allow less waiting and maximum time for the tour.
Drop off your payment at the SHS on the 2nd floor of Town Hall or mail a check to 322 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA 01776.
Check in for the tour on May 21st at the Hunt House (61 King Philip Road) to pick up the informational tour booklet and map.
The tour is self-guided and may be done primarily on foot.
Given the narrow roadways there is no parking along King Philip Road itself or in homeowner’s driveways.
Instead park along the broader roads to the north of King Philip such as Indian Ridge, Allen and Bradley Place, Winsor Road, and Singletary Lane and walk down to the registration area.
Parking is also available in Mill Village and at the Goodnow Library.
For best access to the Railroad Section House park on Maple Avenue.
Proceeds from this fundraiser support the Sudbury Historical Society and the project to build Sudbury’s future History Center & Museum at the Loring Parsonage.
This event is funded in part by a grant from the Sudbury Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
