Our special Beacon Hill: Juneteenth Tour on the Underground Railroad will explore hidden history and Underground Railroad sites along the Black Heritage Trail.
Our spectacular guide team will share eye-opening tales from America’s “Second Revolution,” delving deeply into the tumultuous years of the abolitionist era before the outbreak of the U.S. Civil War.
Our Juneteenth event is a perfect opportunity to investigate the incredible stories of Black History that visitors encounter at landmarks on Beacon Hill including the African Meeting House, the Lewis and Harriet Hayden House, and the Abiel Smith School.
Visit all official Black Heritage Trail sites over 2.5 hours in a small-group atmosphere.
Medium fitness required.
Not accessible due to the nature of Beacon Hill's streets.
