Reflecting the seasonality of farming, Verrill Farm 2018 birthday events kicked off in Spring, when nature kicks off the growing season; went on during the Summer, when Verrill Farm’s first crop, strawberries, peaks; and now Fall - with an agricultural theme including wagon tours of the fields, PYO veggies, visits with 4H’ers & their animals and the popular Apple Dessert Contest.

Corn Picking with Steve Verrill - FREE
Tour leaves the farm stand at 6:00 am sharp and last approximately 1 hour.
Join Steve & learn about this year’s flavor-packed selection of corn varieties before the hands-on picking experience! Each family leaves with a dozen ears of PYO corn! No reservations necessary - just be at the stand at 6:00 am!

Farm Day & Apple Dessert Contest
A Fall celebration of local farming & 100 years of Farm to Table at Verrill Farm! A fun day of farm tours, demonstrations & activities.

• Giddy Up Pony rides - there is a small fee for these

Apple Dessert Contest
Dip into your 'recipe box' and enter your favorite pie or other apple dessert in our annual contest. Winner takes home a prize and bragging rites! All ages welcome.
• 11 am - 1 pm - bring your best apple dessert (name & recipe attached)
• 1:30 pm - judging & winner announced
Sunday, September 23 - 4 pm
Stone Soup
Celebrating Concord's rich agricultural history with food from Concord area restaurants and food businesses. Proceeds help keep farming alive and well in Concord.
• 4 pm - cocktail hour begins
• 5 pm - restaurant tastings begin
• $40 per person. Tickets available in advance at Verrill Farm. Cash or check only.
