Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni Make + Play – Spice Paintings (virtual) little chefs and caregivers will mix up fragrant paints using a variety of spices found at home.
Instructor Maria will guide students as they explore their kitchen cabinets and create original scented works of art.
Materials Needed
Scavenger hunt items: spices such as cinnamon, turmeric, ginger and paprika.
Bowls to mix spices in
A few spoons, one for each bowl
White tempera paint (you can also make your own paint with 1 part flour, 1 part salt and 1 part water)
Paint brush
White paper to paint on
Small container with water
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop.
