Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni Make + Play – Fizzy Paintings (virtual) little scientists will mix up chemical reactions and colorful concoctions with simple ingredients found in the kitchen.
Instructor Maria will begin with a book reading before showing students how to create art that (literally) erupts with bubbling color.
Materials Needed
Baking soda
Vinegar
A couple pieces of watercolor paper or cardstock
Tempera paint in red, yellow and blue
Containers for each paint color
Container of water
Paint brush
Spoon for mixing
