Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.
In Minni SketchShop – Abstract Drawings (virtual) serious sketchers and beginning drawers will learn all the basics of drawing from observation.
Instructor Maria will encourage students to explore contour drawing, abstraction and a variety of foundational techniques.
Materials Needed
Scavenger hunt items – Search your home and choose 3–5 3D objects, such as coffee mugs, books, toys or even fruit!
Students will use create still life drawing from these objects.
1 piece of white paper
Pens or markers
Oil pastels and/or chalk pastels
We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop.
