The Erev Rosh Hashanah seder is a 2000-year-old Sephardic custom still in use today. Join Congregation Shalom on Zoom to bring this practice into your home.

Traditionally the seder precedes the evening meal on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, but feel free to eat before-hand.

Just as in the Passover seder, blessings are offered over various foods that express our hopes for the new year.

We are so lucky to have Ari Strasser leading music at our shared Zoom Rosh Hashanah table.

Participate in any way you wish; join to watch and listen or have some of the holiday foods available to participate more actively.

Items you may wish to have include candles, flowers, kiddush cup with juice or wine, dates, pomegranate seeds, beans, pumpkin, apples and honey, beets, scallions, and challah.
