We are researchers at Emerson College and are looking for typically developing children and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) to participate in research about how children with ASD interpret and produce emotion in facial expressions and tone of voice during daily conversations.

Check out our website: http://facelab.emerson.edu/

Your Role:
Children ages 10-16 (with and without ASD) will watch images or videos on a computer screen and/or listen to people talking.

Some studies could involve the use of a camera that tracks what part of the computer screen the children are looking at.

For some studies we might also place very small stickers on the children's faces and use special cameras to record facial expressions and movements of those stickers.

Compensation:
All participants will receive compensation for their time and a small prize at the end of each visit.

To learn more about helping us with this study or for more information about the FACE Lab, contact us by phone (617-824-8710) or email: [email protected]

A short phone screening is required to determine eligibility
