What are children thinking? Help us find out! At the UMass Boston Baby Lab, we study how children perceive the world around them and how they learn from it.

Particularly, we study language learning, short term memory, and auditory and visual development.

For our in-person studies: When you come in for a visit, your child would simply sit on your lap and watch a short video while we measure where your child is looking on the screen or your child will sit on a comfortable chair and watch a short series of pictures on a tablet and will play a fun memory game.Visits typically last about 30-60 minutes.

We offer $20, free parking, and a small thank you gift.

We are currently recruiting infants between the ages of 5-42 months.
If you would like to participate, you can sign up online at http://babylab.youcanbook.me/ or call us at 617-287-6363.

For our on-line studies: We are currently recruiting children between the ages of 24;00-60;00months.

All of our online studies are run through a free video chat software called Zoom.

The studies sessions last about 15-30 minutes and you will receive $10 amazon gift card.

If you would like to participate in our online studies, you can email us at: [email protected] or call us at 617-287-6363.
