USS Constitution is scheduled to get underway on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the Boston Harbor.
Old Ironsides is expected to depart Charlestown Navy Yard at 10 a.m. before making her way through Boston Harbor. The underway demonstration can be viewed from several locations along the waterfront, including Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston Harborwalk, and Castle Island.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., USS Constitution will render a 21-gun salute, best viewed from Fort Independence on Castle Island.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., the ship will render a 17-gun salute, in the vicinity of Coast Guard Base Boston.
Following the underway demonstration, USS Constitution is scheduled to reopen for public visitation at 3 p.m.

USS Constitution is scheduled to get underway Friday, June 6, from Charlestown Navy Yard at 10 a.m.
The cruise will be visible from the Boston Harborwalk, Castle Island, and the Charlestown Navy Yard.
A 21-gun salute will be fired at approximately 11:30 a.m., viewable from Fort Independence on Castle Island. USS Constitution will reopen for public visitation at 3 p.m.
