This store has permanently closed. Magic Beans is an independently-owned toy store in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge and Wellesley. This colorful, whimsical space was designed by a team of parents, and it shows.
It is a well-thought-out store with an outstanding selection of both time-tested favorites and brand new discoveries. The staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. Giftwrap is complimentary and there is a rewards program for frequent shoppers. The prices are surprisingly low.
In addition to toys, this store has an unbelievable baby gear department with a fantastic selection of strollers, car seats, carriers and more.
Every Magic Beans store also includes a Playscape. After all, it's also a toy store. Rain or shine, this space is open for kids to play and explore our favorite toys - without any pressure to buy. The Playscape also hosts unique in-store events ranging from story time to crafts activities to Stroller Speed Dating.
