Walk into history on the Freedom Trail! Join a costumed Colonial guide as he or she takes you on a 90-minute walking tour of The Freedom Trail, from Boston Common to Faneuil Hall.

Boston's 2.5 mile walk through history- follow the red brick road to 16 historic sites. Boston Common, The Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King's Chapel, Ben Franklin's statue, Old South Meeting House, Old Corner Bookstore, Old State House, Boston Massacre Site, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House, Old North Church, Copp's Hill Burying Ground, USS Constitution, & Bunker Hill Monument.

The Trail itself is outside and is always open for walking. Individual sites have varying operating times and some charge admission. Wear sneakers and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Plan to spend around 4 hours on the Trail, depending on your itinerary and local distractions along the way.

Audio Guide to the Freedom Trail:
Take in all of Boston's Freedom Trail at your own pace and have your own 'personal' guide. Pick up your audio guide at the Visitor Information Center on Boston Common and start the Trail. Put on the head set, click on the sites to listen to the history, sounds, and stories of the American Revolution in Boston - the city where American history and patriotism began.

You're used to the audio guides inside the great art museums of the world. Now take along your audio guide onto the streets and into the historic sites along the Freedom Trail. No other city offers this Outdoor/Indoor Museum experience. More info
