Lake Boon
The beach at Lake Boon is a quiet, family-friendly spot located at the north end of the lake, off of Sudbury Road. You can park behind the soccer fields on the left. Best known as Stow Town Beach, the area features a playground and bathrooms.
There are shallow docks for jumping for early/non-swimmers, and two docks further out for swimmers. It is small enough that you won’t lose your kids if they are the wandering kind, but big enough to meet new people.
There are also fields and a playground nearby, and the ice cream truck even visits occasionally. Lifeguards work the beach from the end of the school year through late-August.
This is a residence only beach well posted for residents only and resident verification is required.
