Situated among the oaks and babbling brooks, sits the Wayside Inn. The grounds are beautiful to walk around any time of year. Enjoy the historic charm of the buildings - there is even a working water wheel!
Visitors are invited to explore the entire 130 acre historic site, which includes the Inn's period furnished museum rooms, changing exhiibit gallery and cabinet displays, as well as the Olde Grist Mill with its working waterwheel and the one-room Redstone Schoolhouse of 'Mary had a little lamb' fame.
The Historic Inn features fine dining open to the public and guests alike, serving hearty, traditional Yankee fare and New England classics. Enjoy both an upscale brunch and dinner in the wonderfully rustic and elegant dining rooms.

'Colonial Music of the Fife and Drum'
Beginging in late April, every Wednesday evening through late September at 7:00 PM to Dusk, enjoy 'Colonial Music of the Fife and Drum' with the Ancient Order of Fife and Drum, from Sudbury, Massachusetts. Costumed performers, traditional Yankee music and instruments on the lawn in front of the Wayside Inn.
