Right outside the town center is the Old North Bridge Park - the famous site where the 'shot heard round the world' was fired.
Enjoy stroller friendly paths (for the most part) with lots of historical information displays as you go. The bridge itself is the 5th reproduction since the actual event.
This is a nice place to take out of town visitors as it's an interesting historic place where you can stroll and chat catching up on your own old times.
Afterwards - pop into the Concord center for a bite to eat at Helen's (formerly Brigham's), or the Wine & Cheese Shop - then peruse the town Toy Store on the corner!
