Owned and operated by the Springfield Ski Club (incorp. Sept. 1935), the Blandford Ski Area is the oldest, continuously operating, club-owned ski area in North America. Families in southern New England have been learning to ski or ride at Blandford since 1936!Blandford has skiing for all abilities but is most proud of its 70 year history of teaching families to ski or snowboard. Blandford Ski Area offers 22 trails, 80% snowmaking, 3 double chairlifts and a beginner tow. Our acclaimed SKI WITH ME program was designed with love and care by Lisa Masciadrelli and her own extended family. It's the perfect introduction to skiing for kids as young as 3.

You don't have to be a member to ski or ride here - guests are always welcome - but there are advantages to becoming a member of The Springfield Ski Club. Check out our trail map circa1965 for a fun look back at some fond childhood memories of Blandford.
