Winchester Community Music School
Winchester Community Music School (WCMS) makes learning music fun for kids, teens, and adults. The school offers private lessons as well as group classes, ensembles, summer programs, and music therapy.
WCMS offers opportunities for study in wide variety of genres, including classical, jazz, rock, and blues. The school has a robust early childhood/Dalcroze Eurhythmics program for students as young as 18 months, as well as lessons and classes in composition/song writing, and music production/recording.
The School’s outstanding faculty members are professional teachers trained at leading music schools around the world. They are also active performers in local orchestras, jazz clubs, and rock bands, as well as church musicians.
Our historic Tudor-revival mansion in beautiful Winchester, Massachusetts, serves as a home for music for over 800 students from more than 30 communities in the Greater Boston area.
The school also presents hundreds of live concerts, recitals, and performances throughout the year, most of which are open to the public and free of charge.

Follow signs to the Fellsway - Exit 33. Take first RIGHT off of rotary onto South Border Road. Follow South Border Road until you come to the Five-Way intersection (first traffic light).Turn sharp LEFT onto Highland Avenue Extension.WCMS is the Tudor Revival house on Right, with circular driveway.
From I-93 North:
Take the RT-16/Mystic Valley Parkway exit – Exit 31 – toward Arlington. Stay in the left lanes to go onto Mystic Valley Parkway/MA-16 West. Turn Right onto Winthrop Street/MA-38 (first cross-street light). Enter next roundabout and continue straight onto MA-38. Bear Right at fork onto Highland Ave. (blue hospital sign). WCMS is the Tudor Revival house on Right, with circular driveway.
