Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something!

FREE EVENT Art, Music, and an Artist Talk
Thursday, May 22, 6:30 – 9:00 PM Make art, make music, and get creative with local artist, teacher, and author Miranda Aisling (ash-lean).

Aisling will be signing her book Don’t Make Art, Just Make Something, which centers around the idea that if you always try to make museum-worthy art you’ll never make anything at all, but if you decide to just make something that turns into something else, that is how we actually end up making art.

The event runs from 6:30 to 8:00 at Artbeat, .From 8:00 to 9:00 the party moves across the street to LUV and Other Gifts, for music making and dessert.

This event is free.

Open to adults, teens, and children 10 and older with a participating adult.
