We are heading into mid-summer and it is a great time to play with sand.

This week we will sand paint on a variety of different size boards and use an assortment of materials.

Artbeat staff can demonstrate 7 different sand painting techniques utilizing nothing more than your fingers and sometimes a wooden stylus.

Choose from sand posters and 3-D pictures, sand and paper collage, and even sand art treasure boxes.

Projects are designed for ages 8 and older; many are suitable for younger children (ages 4 and up) with a participating adult.
