Based on the poem “Where I’m From” by George Ella Lyon, create your own poem telling the story of your heritage and identity, calling upon the power of the five senses.

You can choose to work with the power of words, or use collage materials to represent your message.

Studio Saturdays is a series of adult art making classes designed to inspire creativity and connection through multimedia arts exploration.

Each class includes an arts activity that will inspire collaboration, curiosity and creativity, culminating in a completed individual artwork and communal sharing.
