belmont world film's 23rd annual family festival photoTravel the world with your children during Martin Luther King weekend and beyond—by enjoying some of the most exciting international films for children age 3-12, in English and multiple languages with subtitles. Many are based on children's best-loved children's books.

Belmont World Film’s Family Festival is a must-attend event for families with children ages 3-12, offering some of the world’s most significant films for children that provide a window into the lives of children around the world, as well as filmmaking workshops that will enrich your children’s lives.

**Films available for streaming on the virtual platform are limited to residents of the six New England states so don’t buy tickets or passes if you live outside this area.**

Sign up for the workshops in advance. Space is limited, especially for the Junior Film Critics Workshop. We suggest that you sign up for Learn to Model Shaun the Sheep and Gromit workshops as early as possible in order to have enough time to purchase clay supplies.Belmont World Film’s 22nd Family Festival is a celebration of some of the world’s most imaginative films for and about children, brought to life on the big screen as a shared experience for children aged 3-12 and their families.

More than half the selections are adapted or re-imagined from literature, and almost all are North American premieres.

Character Drawing Workshop
Children age 5+ can also learn how to draw the Minions and Hotel Transylvania characters during a workshop by David Feiss, the co-director of the recently released animated film Hitpig! starring Jason Sudeikus. Feiss will also be on hand for a Q&A after the film’s screening.
