As part of the Discovery Museum's adult speaker and discussion series, join author, journalist, and environmental advocate Julie Carrick Dalton for an inspiring evening exploring the intersection of fiction, science, and the climate crisis.Author of Waiting for the Night Song and The Last Beekeeper, Julie Carrick Dalton will discuss her novel, The Forest Becomes Her, as well as her background as a former organic farmer and beekeeper.
Attendees will learn about climate fiction ('cli-fi'), the power of nature-based storytelling, and how literature can foster environmental stewardship and community connection.
