Come celebrate the Annual Boston Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival. Brightly colored Hong Kong style dragon boats by paddlers of 50 teams from New England and other parts of North America race down the Charles River between JFK Street and Western Avenue.

Cultural programs will begin at 12 Noon. Performances. Arts and crafts demonstrations. Tasty Asian foods. Join us for North America's longest running Dragon Boat Festival!

All programs are free and family friendly. They include Chinese dragon and lion dances, Martial Art, dance and music, traditional Japanese drumming, and more! View the Entertainment Schedule

Rules:
Three mandatory one hour practices needed to Participate in the Races

There will be hands-on-activities of Chinese arts and crafts by Greater Boston Cultural Association. Asian foods galore will line the Memorial Drive.

This one-day festival is a showcase of what Cambridge has to offer and visitors and community members alike with an array of arts, cultural, and community organizations’ activities that happen year-round throughout the city.
