Ice Rink at 401 Park in the Fenway
A 6,000-square-foot ice rink is slated to come to 401 Park - the renovated former Sears, Roebuck & Co. warehouse, in early December. The seasonal, outdoor rink is the first public skating rink in the Fenway.
The Rink at 401 Park will be open seven days a week on the newly created lawn outside the former Landmark Center, which developer Samuels & Associates has rechristened 401 Park. The renovated property has landed amenities including Time Out Market and Trillium Brewing.
Activities at the rink will include theme nights, live DJs, skating lessons and sporting events, according to a press release.
In addition to this new rink at the Fenway and a popular skating rink at the Boston Common frog pond, a seasonal ice skating rink is also planned in the Seaport District.
Skaters are asked to stay on the ice for no longer than 60 minutes so that all ticket holders have the opportunity to skate.
