Cambridge Science Festival, the first of its kind in the United States, is a city-wide celebration showcasing the leading edge in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). It's week-long celebration of ingenuity, creativity and innovation. Highlighting pioneers in science, technology, engineering, art, and math, the Festival is a multifaceted, multicultural event, making science accessible, interactive and fun.
This year's festival runs from September 23 - 29, featuring everything from lab tours and demonstrations to futuristic fashion shows, from environmental kayak adventures to pub trivia nights, from public art installations to the unmissable, family-friendly Science Carnival - a gigantic STEM extravaganza complete with robot petting zoo and liquid nitrogen ice cream freeze off competition.
Comprising hundreds of events, workshops, lectures, demonstrations, multidisciplinary collaborations, family-friendly exhibitions and interactive experiences, CSF is a STEAM-themed extravaganza highlighting Cambridge’s diverse innovative community.
This fall, another electrifying pop-up festival lights up the Open Space, in the heart of Kendall Square and across the city of Cambridge.
Every CSF event is free and open to the public.
The week-long celebration combines all the magic and mayhem of modern science in an action-packed program of events, demonstrations, workshops and performances.
