Join us for Riverfest, our annual block party that takes place each September! The event includes live, local music, free family-friendly activities, and concludes with fireworks over the Mystic River.Enjoy fireworks over the Mystic River, shop 30+ artisan vendors, play beach volleyball or pickleball at Club Volo, and experience live performances on two different stages throughout the day.
Plus, this year, the Baxter Park Oval will feature a bounce house obstacle course, giveaways, roving entertainment, and more family-friendly fun. Check out the full schedule below, with even more details to come!
Riverfest 2026 Event Schedule:
BWM Makers Market (11am – 5pm):
Shop 30+ women-owned businesses with the Boston Women’s Market!
Vendors include Evoke Type Studio, Helen Anne Ceramics, Honeygold Jewelry, Sugar Candle, The Blank Canvas Company, Poodle Pack Gear and more.
Open Play Beach Volleyball & Pickleball (11am – 8pm):
Stay active with volleyball, pickleball, and more at Club Volo, which will be FREE & open to the public all day.
Discovery Row (1pm – 5pm):
Explore a great lineup of activities and giveaways from Assembly Row businesses, or discover new local flavors and products at our mini–Farmers Market, located alongside The Lawn.
Live Music on The Lawn Stage (1pm – 6pm):
Grab a drink at The Lawn Bar while enjoying live, local music on The Lawn Stage all afternoon, sponsored by Cayman.

Artisan Way Kids Zone (4pm – 8pm):
Unleash your creativity at the Chalk Walk and check out our DJ who will be running interactive games for the kiddos all afternoon.

Jump into a bounce house obstacle course, enjoy a bubble show, and explore even more freebies, raffles, and games from Assembly Row businesses.
Live Music on the Mystic River Stage (4pm – 8:30pm):
Enjoy an electric lineup of live performances along the Mystic River leading up to our end-of-summer fireworks show.

Fireworks will begin right around 8:30pm over the Mystic River.

From Points North via I-93 South: Head South on I-93 and take exit 28 toward Sullivan Square/Charlestown.
