The Annual Italian Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian will be a great celebration of tradition, cultural pride and fun for the whole family on September 8-10, 2023 on Cambridge and Warren Streets in East Cambridge.
Thousands from near and far join us for the Feast each year. The weekend of the festival is filled with excitement for all who attend the celebration. It is a time for family, friends, neighbors, and the community to come together and appreciate the traditions of Italy, and most importantly, a time to pay homage to the miraculous Saints Cosmas and Damian, 'The Healing Saints'.
Warren and Porter Streets (Gaeta Square) of East Cambridge are closed and decorated with illuminations and flags. The bandstand and the ornate (the temporary chapel which house the Saints for the weekend) are erected at one end of the festival.
A carnival is erected at the other end of the festival. The street is filled with vendors of all sorts, and the aroma of sizzling Italian sausage fills the air.
As always, there will be a food festival, parades, amusement rides, meatball and cannoli eating contests, movie characters, carnival games, street performers, cooking demonstrations, and live entertainment throughout the weekend.
As always, the Feast has food options for every taste as a “food festival” will be created on Warren Street.
Don’t forget to join the fun for feast favorites – the Annual Meatball and Cannoli Eating Contests.

This is a great event for all ages.
Play a game, watch a parade, try some great food, listen to music, go on a ride and have a great time!
Feast hours are Friday 6:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday 1:00pm to 11:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm to 10:00pm.
